Laboratory for Innovative and Advanced Next-Gen Computing
Welcome to the Laboratory for Innovative and Advanced Next-Gen Computing (LIANG)!
We are currently looking for a PhD student join Spring/Fall 2025! And actively recruiting research intern to work on the following topics:
Hardware Software Co-design for Quantum Computing
FT Algorithms, NISQ Algorithms, and Quantum Error Correction Code
Quantum Machine Learning, Quantum Optimization, Quantum Federated Learning, etc., for Real World Applications
I would strongly encourage students interested in quantum computing, even if they do not have deep knowledge in this field, to apply for opportunities in our lab. However, applicants should possess strong coding skills, excellent English communication abilities, and a good personality, as we aim to maintain a positive lab environment. If you have concerns about the career path in quantum computing, I am more than willing to share my insights.
For training PhD students, while research ability is our primary focus, we also emphasize social skills and public speaking abilities. These are crucial for your research, personal network, and future career. I encourage students to attend conferences, even if they have not published papers there.
